Uber (ride hailing app) in partnership with Droom (an online marketplace for automobiles) is offering this opportunity to ride supercars for free in Delhi-NCR. Uber came up with this move after the success of its pet adoption initiative (#uberPUPPIES).
In its blog, Droom said,” Droom, India’s first online marketplace for buying and selling automobiles, gives you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ride in a supercar – turn your boring weekday into an intensely thrilling experience! We have partnered with Uber to present ‘Supercars on Demand’. All you have to do is get on the Uber app between 1 to 4 pm on July 15th 2015 and tap on the slider to get your dream ride on demand and let us sweep you off your feet as you speed away!”
If you are also one of them who want to drive those luxury cars for free then you can… Between 1pm to 4pm, users can ride Audi R8 or Hummer for 15 minutes. For this you just need to slide to the extreme right on your Uber app.
Rishab Malik, co-founder and vice-president of business development, Droom, said in a release, “We are absolutely thrilled about this one-of-a-kind uber ride. Event that we are hosting along with our partner Uber. Niche luxury cars are now just a click away with Droom. We now provide the most extensive selection of pre-owned, exotic, and elegant cars available for purchase.”
He also said “Through this campaign, we wish to bring people who have longed to enjoy a first-hand experience of supercars one step closer to owning their very own mean machine.”

This initiative is already offered by Uber in some countries like Singapore, Canada and Australia a few months back but this is for the first time that Uber is offering this opportunity (#uberSUPERCARS) in India.
